Villa housekeeping and cleaning

Clean villas get the reviews. Housekeeping is part of our management, not a separate cleaning service: our team cleans between every stay to a written checklist, a supervisor checks with photos, and linen and amenities are stocked on a cycle. This page explains the standard and what it costs you.

In detail

Turnover cleaning checklist

Bedrooms stripped and remade with fresh linen; bathrooms descaled, not wiped; kitchen emptied of leftovers and cleaned inside the fridge and oven; floors washed; terraces and outdoor furniture cleaned; pool skimmed and checked; bins, bulbs, batteries and remotes tested; a photo of every room before the guest arrives. Time depends on the villa: a two-bedroom townhouse and a nine-bedroom estate do not get the same crew.

Linen, towels and amenities

Each villa carries enough sets to turn around a same-day changeover. Laundry runs on a cycle with a partner laundry or in-house where the villa has the machines. Amenities are stocked to a list agreed with you; replacements appear in the statement at cost.

Deep cleans and pest control

A deep clean is scheduled in the low season or after long stays; pest control and mattress cleaning are on a calendar rather than a complaint. Both are quoted and approved in advance.

Who cleans: our team or your staff

If you already employ housekeeping staff, we assess them, train them to the checklist and supervise; if not, our team covers the villa. Staff costs and our supervision are shown in the report either way.

What cleaning costs the owner

Guests pay a cleaning fee on nightly bookings where the channel allows it, and that fee offsets the turnover cost. Consumables and laundry are passed through at cost. There is no separate housekeeping fee on top of the 20% commission.
