“Walking distance to the beach” is one of the least reliable phrases in Bali villa marketing, because it has no fixed definition. A listing might mean a flat 3-minute stroll, or a 15-minute walk along a busy road with no proper footpath — both technically qualify as “walking distance,” but they’re completely different experiences for a daily beach trip with kids, gear or just after a long travel day.
